The Worship Leader plays a very important role at a training event, and so it is important that this person has a certain level of experience, confidence and capability. They will need to have a high level of inter-personal skills to be able to work with local worship leaders to integrate Alpha-style worship and local worship into the programme. Coaching on how this might work in practice will be given during the GAT Team Training. Should a team not be able to provide a worship leader, the Local Team in the receiving country will ensure they have a local worship leader for the event.

Worship leader Key Skills/ Competencies:

• Confident and capable worship leader
• Comfortable with possibly leading a time of singing in the spirit
• Confident with the technical side of worship leading
• Ideally experienced in leading worship on an Alpha course
