Hi everyone
My husband Tony, our friends Dwight, Richard and myself (Laurie-Ann) are going on a GAT trip to Sierra Leone April 16 - May 7 from Ottawa, Canada. Richard is the newest to come on the team and so is in catch-up mode. Dwight has never been to Africa before, so he needs prayer for culture shock. Tony and I are doing a lot of preparatory work for this trip and I am also going to Washington DC to get our visas since there is no embassy/High Commission in Canada.

Please pray that there are no snow storms in the Washington DC area between February 20 - 27. Please pray that our fundraiser for our GAT trip on March 6 will go well. I have a head cook, some helpers, a local musician who is providing music (so that end is divinely arranged!) but I am having trouble getting dinner guests!! I was to have this event as a fundraiser for my own airfare etc but we were asked to fund the whole GAT conference budget in Sierra Leone, so the dinner is now targeted for that only. My husband and I need to raise an additional $10,000 and the other members $5500 each.
