On Saturday 13th June, 2009 a GAT Training day was held as part of International Week at HTB. It was an exciting day during which not only GAT teams from the UK were trained, but also GAT teams and Local Coordinators from around the world.
This was the first time a training day for Local Coordinators was held and it was a huge success. The Local Coordinators were able to go back to their countries with all of the knowledge they needed to run a Global Alpha Training Event. It also gave GAT teams who are already matched with events an opportunity to meet their Local Coordinators before going on their trips.
In total 152 people were trained. The delegates all left feeling energised and excited about their GAT Events.
