Earlier this month a team, lead by Nigel Raymont,  from the Vine Church in Hong Kong, led the very first GAT event in Nepal. The training event was a big success with the participation of 62 church pastors and leaders from Kathmandu.

Pastor Samuel, the Local Cordinator, had this to say about the event:

'The participants found the training to be very unique as the methods used to share the Gospel is different and new. This training has now given a new challenge as well as providing encouragement to the participants. We feel that the training managed to answer many questions and curiosity that the pastors had with regard to Alpha and the training. The training has proved to be a very simple way to share the word of God, which can be used in our daily lives. This can also help in establishing friendship and to attract many people to hear the word of God'

There are five regions in Nepal. The event in Kathmandu was in the central region. The team in Nepal are now praying and planning for GAT Events in the other four regions.
