Global Alpha Training - where global mission meets local evangelism

The need around the world for Alpha training is greater than ever. Teams from churches who know and love Alpha are meeting this need by running Global Alpha Training events.

What is GAT?  Global Alpha Training (GAT) is localised training delivered in a localised style. It has been designed to equip and empower people from churches that run and love Alpha courses to train others where there is a training need:

• wherever there is a training need around the world, at home or abroad (Alpha-matched)
• with mission partners in other countries (Self-matched)
• across their own country, or in their own town or city (Local GAT)

GAT could be called ‘Alpha Training in a Suitcase’, as GAT teams are provided with training, programmes and transcripts of the GAT talks. All you need to do is add your experience and passion! The training is delivered by volunteers from churches who run and love Alpha.

• 2, 3 or 4 day programmes which are interactive, and include sketches and illustrations to assist with explanations
• Gives delegates the opportunity to experience and practise elements of the course
• The target audience is church leaders who have heard about Alpha and would like to be trained to run the course
• The maximum number of delegates, for the event to be as effective as possible, is between 80 - 100
